Located mere steps from the stunning beach, the view from my small balcony added a pleasing touch to my mornings, a delightful accompaniment to my tea from my plantation. The hotel's proximity to a variety of restaurants and bars is commendable, ensuring that guests can easily explore local cuisine and culture. The staff exemplified hospitality, always polite and ready to assist - a reflection of our warm Sri Lankan culture. Free parking was a significant highlight, alleviating potential hassle and enhancing the convenience of my stay. Essential amenities such as flat-screen TVs and complimentary toiletries were available, catering to those who appreciate both simplicity and functionality. While the decor may not ooze extravagance, Transat excels in providing a genuinely cozy retreat at an adequate price. For travelers seeking a combination of value and a prime location by the beach, this hotel is a wise choice.
